Flickr’s “Pro” Account…Here’s a sweet picture

So, I began uploading pics of my kids. I presented this to my dad, who lives in Florida…some 1200 miles from me (or so, i dont know anymore).

I read that for a set price per year (which is specifically termed dirt-damn-cheap) you can have unlimited storage and bandwidth.

Granted, I have enormous bandwidth on my server, and no it’s not DreamHost (or DreamJoke, if you’ve used them before). However, unlimited bandwidth and storage on Flickr, okay, i’m listening…

Human Computer Interaction…How about getting an actual Human involved?

Not to sound trite, but IT folks are not “normal” by any means. As alluded to in Meridith’s post, HCI (Human Computer Interaction) is a very important aspect to consider in any industry…including libraries.

Libraries and IT are not so distant from each other. In fact, I would venture to say they compliment each other well. The only design flaw with most libraries is the structure of resources for finding things.
